Crisis Communications Plan: Created and implemented a crisis communication plan that included strategies and tactics used to distance the Florida Papa John’s franchisees from the corporate crisis.

STRATEGY + TACTICS
Seven assisted in re-solidifying the franchisees’ positive partnerships in their respective communities and positioned local Papa John’s locations in a positive light. Corporate Communications and Relationship Management with Professional Sports Team partnerships: Created and distributed the individual franchisees holding statements and press releases to their corporate partners Executives to include Tampa Bay Lightning, Florida Marlins,
Orlando Magic, and Miami Heat.

Played a role in working on messaging and past charity efforts to help prevent the partnerships from dropping their contracts.

Worked with Zimmerman Ad agency on writing a commercial script that was aired on FOX Sports in all Florida market.

Media Monitoring
Handled the media monitoring through our paid media database, to monitor all Papa John’s Florida and national media coverage hourly. All coverage was recorded and reported to all parties involved in order to react in a timely and effective manner to news that requires action/response.

Media coverage included; FOX, ABC, NBC, FOX Sports, Bloomberg News, Tampa Bay Times, and more.

Ongoing Crisis Communications
During the time of monitoring, our agency reacted accordingly and worked with each Florida franchisee to respond to the news that needed to be attended to.

RESULTS
Seven’s crisis communications efforts resulted in saving three, multi-million-dollar, professional sports organizations partnerships. Our television commercials and ‘bounce back’ Ad campaigns resulted in saving thousands of local pizza customers.

Early child education and private preschools are a competitive business. The franchise owners of Primrose School of South Tampa contracted our team during the groundbreaking of their South Tampa school located on W. Kennedy Blvd. to assist with creating brand awareness, strategic partnerships, and grassroots marketing and PR efforts with the overall goal of filling 250+ enrollments prior to opening their doors.


STRATEGY
Partnered with local family events and businesses that shared their audience, such as the Glazier’s Children Museum, Florida Aquarium, local restaurants, youth sports leagues and realtors. Partnerships were established to market Primrose School to their parents. Seven also
positioned Primrose as an expert in the industry by highlighting ownership, philanthropic efforts, educational awards and its staff to media outlets.


TACTICS
Seven provided marketing collateral and Grand Opening “Tour” invites to families through grassroots marketing efforts that converted into enrollments and dollars. PR: Seven sent messaging to professional publication and industry trade magazines to help develop relationships between Primrose and its educational writers; as well as story angles to local media in Tampa Bay generating over $20,000 in earned media value.


RESULTS
With the combined Grand Opening PR and marketing efforts, Seven assisted in maxing out the schools enrollments with a waiting list of over 100 families prior to the Grand Opening. The enrollments secured, totaled over $4 million dollars in annual enrollment fees in the school’s 1st year.


Seven garnered media coverage resulting in over 5 million impressions through local media coverage and industry publications and trade magazines including Tampa Bay Parenting, Tampa Bay Magazine, Tampa Bay Business Journal, Tampa Bay Times, FOX 13, ABC Action News, WTSP Channel 10, WFLA Channel 8 (NBC).

Ian Beckles

Ian Beckles was born and raised in Montréal, Canada in a single parent household. His love for football and drive for success brought him to the United States where he attended Indiana University. He was the Co Captain of the IU football team in 1989 and graduated with a bachelor of arts in Business Administration.

Following college, Beckles began his career as an NFL player for the Tampa Bay Buccaneers and the Philadelphia Eagles. Ian Beckles is currently the cohost of the ever popular Ron and Ian Show. Ian has been married for 20 years to his loving wife, Dayle and has 3 children, Zayna, Marques, and Payton. One of Ian’s passions was watching his children’s participation in athletics and has enjoyed watching them blossom into productive individuals.

Ian’s calling to serve the children of Tampa Bay came to fruition August 20, 2014 when he established the Ian Beckles Foundation. He aspires to empower the children of the Tampa Bay area and help them build a better future.

The Tarence Kinsey Foundation, a 501 (c) 3 nonprofit was established by Tarence Kinsey, Jr. on September 21, 2009 for the purpose of establishing and supporting community projects, especially those involving children and families in Tampa Bay and the surrounding areas.

In 2012 – 2013, the TK foundation helped four students receive full college scholarships by providing them with mentors, tutors, motivators, and educational guidance throughout their high school years.

Our Goal is to increase the amount of youth we help every year by providing more college scholarships, mentorship programs, life skills events, and additional educational and athletic resources to help better the lives of our youth in need.
