Ian Beckles was born and raised in Montréal, Canada in a single parent household. His love for football and drive for success brought him to the United States where he attended Indiana University. He was the Co Captain of the IU football team in 1989 and graduated with a bachelor of arts in Business Administration.
Following college, Beckles began his career as an NFL player for the Tampa Bay Buccaneers and the Philadelphia Eagles. Ian Beckles is currently the cohost of the ever popular Ron and Ian Show. Ian has been married for 20 years to his loving wife, Dayle and has 3 children, Zayna, Marques, and Payton. One of Ian’s passions was watching his children’s participation in athletics and has enjoyed watching them blossom into productive individuals.
Ian’s calling to serve the children of Tampa Bay came to fruition August 20, 2014 when he established the Ian Beckles Foundation. He aspires to empower the children of the Tampa Bay area and help them build a better future.
