OWNER & CEO

Carolynn Smith-Jones

Carolynn Smith-Jones is a sales, marketing, and public relations professional with over 20 years of experience in the hospitality, health care, sports, entertainment, and franchise industries. Her business focus is to get maximum media coverage, brand awareness and brand exposure for her clients which include national corporations, business owners, professional athletes, published authors, and high-profile CEOs.

Carolynn started her career as an on-air radio personality for NFL Fox Sports where she covered NFL pre-season camps and side-line reporting; interviewing NFL players and coaches.

A graduate of UNF and Hall of Famer in NCAA Women’s Basketball, she continues to emcee the NCAA Women’s Basketball Final Four “Tourney Town” as one of her passion projects.  

Following the world of sports and entertainment; Carolynn’s extensive communications background includes multiple awards in sales and marketing for Starwood Hotels & Resorts and Hilton Hotels nationwide. As a former “Million Dollar Baby” in sales and marketing for Hilton Hotels Worldwide; Carolynn continues to help market Hospitality clients nationally including Papa Johns and national hotel brands. 

Carolynn is entering her 14th year as owner of Seven Marketing + PR.

Theresa DePasquale

Theresa Depasquale is a seasoned personal brand strategist and the former owner of Capture Social Group, with over 12 years’ experience helping high-impact leaders turn visibility into meaningful business growth.
Throughout her career, Theresa has worked with some of the most respected names in business, health, and personal development, including Dr. Gabrielle Lyon, Lisa Nichols, JJ Virgin, Andy Frisella, Tamsen Fadal, Dr. Judith Joseph,  and other influential founders and thought leaders. Her work sits at the intersection of brand development and marketing, helping expert and influencer-led brands build, grow and monetize their personal brand online. 
In addition to client work, Theresa is a trusted mentor to seven- figure + entrepreneurs. She has served as a go-to advisor for elite mastermind communities where she teaches advanced personal brand strategy and how to leverage content as a scalable business asset.
Theresa founded Capture Social Group in December 2018 to provide strategic, high-touch consulting and services for industry-leading experts who needed more than surface-level social media support. As client needs expanded beyond social media marketing into brand strategy, business development, partnerships, and revenue growth, it became clear that a more integrated approach was needed. That evolution led to the strategic merger of Capture Social Group into Seven Marketing + PR in January 2026. By combining Capture’s expertise in personal branding, business development, and social media marketing with Seven’s high-level communications , marketing and execution capabilities, clients benefit from a unified strategy that connects visibility, authority, and revenue through one aligned agency team, eliminating fragmentation.

Amy Jean Smith

Amy Jean Smith-Bethea is the VP of Communications at Seven Marketing + PR, who helps growing organizations and brands communicate with clarity, purpose, and personality. She specializes in building the systems behind strong communication, from internal frameworks and brand voice development to leadership visibility and employee engagement strategies.
 
Amy’s work spans multiple industries, where she leads communication and media strategies for multi-market companies and shapes cohesive storytelling across teams and platforms. She also manages onsite media and event operations for major partners including Feld Entertainment, supporting high-impact public relations moments and live event execution.
 
Beyond her agency role, Amy serves as Vice Chair of Bess the Book Bus, a national mobile literacy nonprofit based in Tampa. She supports the organization’s communications, partnerships, and national outreach as it brings free books and literacy programs to children across the country.
 
Amy is known for her narrative instinct, clean writing style, and ability to translate complex ideas into clear, engaging communication that people connect with.

Kendrix “KJ” Jones

Kendrix “KJ” Jones is a seasoned executive with a strong background in sales, business development and retail development. Currently serving as the Vice President of Sales and Business Development for Seven Marketing + PR, KJ brings a wealth of experience and expertise to his role.

Prior to his successful career in the PR industry, KJ had a noteworthy journey in the world of sports. He excelled as a college football player, showcasing his talent and dedication on the field. After his collegiate career, KJ’s skills landed him a spot briefly in the National Football League (NFL).

Driven by his entrepreneurial spirit, KJ transitioned into the business world and discovered his passion for sales and entrepreneurship. With a natural flair for building relationships and closing deals, he has spent the past 15 years honing his skills in various sales roles.

KJ’s unique combination of athleticism, business acumen, and sales has made him an invaluable asset to the team at Seven Marketing + PR. He continues to drive growth, forge strategic partnerships, and deliver exceptional results for both his clients and the company.

Rick Grant

Rick Grant is the Director of Content and Expert Development at Seven Marketing + PR. A former national trade press reporter and editor, Rick has covered financial services, technology, engineering, and real estate for leading publishers in New York and for Office.com, a media project owned by CBS and Winstar.
 
With more than 25 years of experience writing about leaders and their work, Rick has built a career around telling stories that illuminate expertise and strengthen credibility. His background spans television, radio, podcasts, web, and print, giving him a wide lens on how to shape narratives across platforms.
 
At 7MPR, Rick focuses on developing thought leaders, refining expert positioning, and producing high-quality content that elevates brand authority and visibility.
